Charlton’s Scholars Series is a new academic enrichment programme for all Year 11 students, designed to nurture curiosity, critical thinking and a love of learning beyond examinations. Through interdisciplinary exploration of big questions about knowledge, power and the future, students will develop the analytical and intellectual skills valued by universities and employers alike. The programme reflects Dubai College’s commitment to ensuring every student leaves not only with excellent grades, but with the confidence and curiosity to engage thoughtfully with a complex world.

Dubai College is proud to launch EDGE (Empathy, Design, Growth and Enterprise), an innovative new Key Stage 3 curriculum beginning with Year 7 in 2026–27. Through hands-on, project-based learning, students will develop the creativity, digital literacy and problem-solving skills needed to become ethical innovators, confident communicators and future changemakers.

Year 12 Design Technology students partnered with DesertBoard and Abanos to design and manufacture sustainable flat-pack furniture using carbon-neutral materials. Through industry workshops and hands-on design processes, students developed professional product design skills, culminating in the production of their furniture and a planned exhibition showcasing their work.

The Year 8 Bronze Crest Award Science Fair provided a fantastic end to the school year, with students proudly showcasing their investigations to Year 7. Dubai College excelled at the inaugural WSG Chess competition, topping their qualifier before edging a tightly contested final by just half a point to take first place. The event was live-streamed, with players interviewed throughout, and the team now looks ahead to competing on a global stage.

Dubai College enjoyed another outstanding rugby season, with record participation and strong performances across both the boys’ and girls’ programmes. The DC 7s continues to grow as the UAE’s largest school sevens tournament, showcasing the strength and success of rugby at DC.

Dubai College Boys' Rugby enjoyed an outstanding year, with U16A, U16B and U19 teams topping their DASSA leagues, while junior squads continued to thrive on local and international stages.
