This years’ results, exemplify a unique blend of academic prowess, resilience, and dedication that define Dubai College students.

Mike Lambert, Head of Dubai College commented "This year has been a record breaking year for Dubai College! At 153 students, this year’s GCSE cohort is the largest in Dubai College’s 45-year history, and 13% bigger than in 2019 which was the last time grades were unadjusted for COVID. It is therefore particularly gratifying that this year’s contingent have set a new record for Dubai College. With a staggering 92% of all examinations graded 9-7, our students have achieved the highest set of unadjusted GCSE grades at the school, ever. The A Level A*-B statistic of 93% is the highest in our history. Nine of our students gained a full house of A* grades. Of these, seven students achieved this grade in four A Level subjects. Thirteen students will be taking up their offers at Oxford and Cambridge, the third time Dubai College students have reached double figures. This kind of positive accomplishment shows that DC students are far more than book smart, they are conscientious, resilient, and committed. I offer many congratulations to the parents, students and staff who have collectively enabled this to happen."

"The Sixth Form team is extremely proud of the A level grades achieved by our Year 13 students this year.  With 74% of all grades achieved being an A or an A*, we celebrate the highest success rate in the history of our school amidst the wider context of top grades at A Level falling this year. It is worth remembering that this cohort of students had to adapt to tougher conditions despite having no previous experience of sitting public examinations owing to the pandemic. Exceptional outcomes include the nine students who achieved a full house of A* grades, the 13 students who will be heading to Oxbridge and the record thirteen students taking up their offers at Ivy League institutions." We are delighted to share the remarkable accomplishments of our students in the Pearson examination series May/June 2023. The dedication and academic excellence demonstrated by our student body has resulted in a record number of High Achiever Awards*. An incredible 110 current Year 12 students and 75 current Year 14 students have been honoured with Certificate of Excellence Awards. This commendable achievement reflects their exceptional academic prowess and unwavering commitment to scholastic excellence.

We take immense pride in acknowledging the extraordinary accomplishments of 17 students who have been bestowed with the prestigious Outstanding Pearson Learner Award (OPLAs). These awards recognise individuals who have attained the highest subject marks in their respective country, region, and globally across a diverse range of subjects.

This acknowledgement is testament to the hard work, dedication, and intellectual prowess exhibited by our students. Their achievements not only contribute to the academic prestige of our institution but importantly serve as an inspiration for their peers and future generations. Sharing this milestone celebration, Gill Hodder, Assistant Head: Assessment, Reporting and Student Progress commented "This commendable display of academic proficiency not only reflects the diligence and dedication of the individual students but also reflects Dubai College’s commitment to providing a nurturing educational environment. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all recognised students on their remarkable achievements and invited those students to be presented their certificates and to celebrate with us at a special ‘Cake Break’ held in their honour."
