Friends of Dubai College

The Friends of Dubai College (FDC) is a volunteer group open to all parents, staff and alumni. It was set up to develop effective relationships across the DC Community and proactively contribute to the ability of the school to achieve its goals. Over the years it has evolved and nurtured that warm community feel.

FDC aims to:

• Enrich and complement the educational experience of Dubai College students through a variety of school social events, from 'Fun Days' for the Lower School students to fun and memorable events marking the milestone for our departing Year 13 students;
• Organise events to support the school's wellbeing and philanthropic initiatives, including bringing the parents, teachers, staff and friends together for social events;
• Provide support to key academic events held at the school, including parents evenings;
• Lead and coordinate the Class Representative communication system where we cascade useful event information through our volunteer Parent Reps.
