The DC Fund
The DC Fund is our name for our overall approach to asking for support for those aspects of College life not covered by fees alone. These can include additional sports or arts equipment, support for College tours and trips, projects to help meet our sustainability and environmental goals, extra-curricular activities and our philanthropic activities in Nepal.
Recent DC Fund successes include additional new floodlights for our main games pitches, a sophisticated laser engraver/cutter for the Design Technology Department, racing sails for DCs sailing dinghies, printing presses for the Art Department and a major contribution to the philathropic work in Nepal.
The DC Fund is made up of three parts:
The Parents’ Annual Fund
An annual approach to current parents to support the objectives of the fund
The Alumni Fund
An annual approach to our alumni to ask for their support
The Farewell Fund
An approach to the parents of students about to leave DC asking them to donate their original debenture to the Fund
