Girls Basketball
Basketball is a fast and exciting game that proves to be very popular for the students of Dubai College. Home matches and training take place in the indoor sportshall whilst there is an outdoor court for recreational play and practice. The college takes part in the Dubai Schools Basketball League producing strong teams at every age group where they are regularly competing for top honors. As well as league games there are House basketball tournaments along with numerous friendly matches against schools from Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
SQUADS AND TRAINING
There are three main age categories U13, U15 and U19 with the college running both girls and boys teams at each age group. The U19 teams compete during term 1 and will train twice a week during this period along with league fixtures and friendly matches. Both U19 teams will continue to train during term 2. Training will begin for all of the U13 and U15 teams during term 2 building towards their competitive season which begins in term 3.
