The Careers Room contains a wide range of materials on different careers and the subject requirement necessary for entry to specific courses. At this stage the leaflets and booklets in the HINTS library, Signposts Box, 'Occupations' and 'Working In…' series are helpful.

If a pupil is considering for a degree eventually, then two books are available within the Careers Room:

'University and College Entrance: The Official Guide' published by the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) and

'The Complete Degree Course Offers for Entry into Higher Education' by Brian Heap
