FDC New Parents' Evening

 

The FDC New Parents' Evening started off with a discussion on the FDC events for the 2008-9 academic year.More than 45 new parents attended a social evening where they mingled with each other and FDC committee members. The evening started promptly with a short welcome by the new headmaster, Dr. Carlo Ferrario.  This was followed by an introduction on the FDC’s role in the Dubai College community by FDC Chairman, John Merrigan. 

Other committee members spoke briefly giving a short overview of activities held over the last year and proposed activities for the year ahead.  The evening was pleasantly rounded off over beverages and a delicious array of assorted sandwiches, snacks and cakes. 

The event provided a great opportunity for many of the new parents to meet each other and FDC members informally and many parents volunteered their services to get involved and help out in future events.

Many thanks to the parents who took time out of their busy schedules to attend and the FDC hope to see the same support at the various events scheduled for this year.
